Speaking project: A school exchange

Work with a partner and plan two days of the exchange:
one at school and one in your area. For those days, think
of activities that a student on an exchange programme
would like to do.
DAY 1: A day in our school
We’re from a little town near Girona, one of the province capitals of Catalonia, called Banyoles.
Our school is the only concerted school in the whole town and is located in the carretera de Porqueres s/n.
It’s name is Casa Nostra and it offers to grow up in the school from 1 or 2 years old to 16.
Our building is the smallest and it has 3 floors and 9 classes, including teacher’s room.

Our day starts at 9:00 am and then, we all gonna meet in the school principal door to count ourselves.
We’re 26 in the class and some people have 16 years old and some 15. In our cases, Sergi’s 16 and I’m 15.
The first day we are going to stay in the school. In the morning we’ll do some activities relationates with
the global warming and the environment, because Banyoles is an eco-friendly house. We are going to have
lunch in the school canteen at 1:30 pm, and they’re going to taste our everyday lunch, that’s horrible!

We’re gonna finish it at 5:00 and then we will go to the Banyoles Lake to taste the water! When we finish
to take a bath, we’ll go to our houses to rest.

In the evening we are going to have dinner in the Pesquera, a chinese restaurant from Banyoles.

DAY 2: A day in our city
First of all, in the morning, we gonna visit the famous lake of Banyoles and then we going to go to Tirona.
This boat costs 8 euros for person older than 8 years. After that, we will going to visit and explore the old town

famous restaurant. In Girona, we will go by Teisa, a local bus that costs 3 euros for person. Then, we will
watch a football match, Girona vs Valencia. This match costs 70 euros for person in “Tribuna”. After that
we will visit the old town in Girona and the famous monuments, such as the cathedral of Santa Maria or
the church of Sant Nicolau.
