WRITING 6: HOW GREEN ARE YOUR GADGETS?

Introduction: The aim of this report is to look at the effects that gadgets have had an our lives. My sources include facts and figures from a report. Positive effects: In general, an average of 41 gadgets are unsed in each home. Today, more than 70 per cent of electronic gadgets can be reycled, and recycling gadgets saves 33 per cent of the energy needed to make new plastic. Negative effects: But then, 17 million small devices are thrown away in the UK every year an more than 80 per cent of all electronic waste is not recycled. Conclusion: To sum up, we should also try to think about the environment when we use them. I would recommend that we will save money and protect the environment.

WRITING 3: A HAPPY ENDING

Last summer, I went to London with my family. It was our last day and we wanted to buy some souvenirs for my uncles and for my grandparents, but my mother left the wallet in the hotel. We ran to the hotel and we toke our money. We didn't have much time, so we took a taxi. Although we arrived at the shop to buy some souvenirs, the shop was closed. We are very angry and we decided to buy the souvenirs in the airport.
